Queen Arwa University Awards Master
Queen Arwa University awarded Arwa Ahmed Shamsan Al-Maamari a Master’s degree with distinction in Accounting for her thesis titled, "Factors Influencing the Phenomenon of Tax Evasion in the Republic of Yemen: A Field Study on the Tax Authority of the Republic of Yemen."
The public defense of the thesis took place on the morning of Saturday, August 24, 2024, in the main hall of Queen Arwa University. The examination committee included:
- Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hosseini Ahmed Al-Hosseini, Associate Professor of Accounting at Amran University and Queen Arwa University (Internal Examiner and Committee Chair).
- Dr. Hadi Ahmed Mohammed Al-Sayyad, Assistant Professor of Accounting at Queen Arwa University (Member and Main Supervisor).
- Dr. Mohsen Babqi Abdulqader Ahmed, Assistant Professor of Accounting at Sana’a University (Member and External Examiner).
The committee praised the quality of the thesis and the efforts made, offering some comments that did not detract from the overall value of the work. Ultimately, the committee recommended awarding Arwa Al-Maamari the Master’s degree in Accounting with distinction.
The defense was attended by Dr. Ismail Badr Al-Din, Dean of Graduate Studies, along with several deans, department heads, faculty members, researchers, and interested attendees.
