Establishment of the University

Based on the interest of our darling country, the variety of the education sources, and in order to keep pace with science and scientific progress and the introduction of modern technology in various areas of life in Yemen, Queen Arwa University for Academic Sciences was established in 1995 by a group of specialists and educators under the decree of the Prime Minister, the President of the Supreme Council of Universities No. (1) of 1996. As a result, the university takes the task of contributing to the provision of academically qualified graduates with the necessary scientific and practical expertise in this field.

The university serves the Yemeni society and moves it forward and it directly contributes to the service of the Arab and human society. The University is an independent, non-profit academic educational institution that draws its money from unconditional donations, student fees and the proceeds of some advisory and research services.
