Queen Arwa University Participates in International Conference on "Emerging Trends and Careers in Science and Technology"
Under the patronage of Dr. Ghassan Ali Hashem, Vice President of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Lutfi Al-Rahbi, Dean of the College of Medical Sciences, and Ms. Maryam Abdul Hakim, General Registrar and Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Queen Arwa University participated in the international web conference titled "Emerging Trends & Careers in Science & Technology: An International Perspective."
The conference was held in India on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the participation of researchers from various countries. Representing Yemen was Dr. Abduh Taher Al-Saadi, Head of the Pharmacy Department at Queen Arwa University.
Other participants included:
- United States: George Jobin, CEO and Founder of GTG InnoVision, Florida.
- Canada: Paridhi Verma, Senior User Experience Manager at Google, Vancouver, and Anusha Rai, HR Consultant, Burns Lake, British Columbia.
- Saudi Arabia: Dr. Suhail Ahmed, Physics Department, King Khalid University, Abha.
- United Arab Emirates: Dr. Suhaib Malik, Lecturer, British International School, Ajman, and Mr. Bassam Mohammad Abd Naser, from Abyan.
Conference Objectives:
- To achieve knowledge about the interdisciplinary approach and its advantages.
- To explore opportunities for professional growth, skill development, and personal enrichment.
- To analyze the impact of science and technology on modern living.
- To develop soft skills, behavior modeling, job shadowing, career planning, and goal setting.
- To generate leads and build relationships.
