Third-Level Graphics Students Organize Advertising Models Exhibition at Queen Arwa University
Under the sponsorship of Dr. Ghassan Ali Hashem, Vice President of the University, and the Deanship of Student Affairs and the College of Arts and Humanities, third-level students from the Graphics Department organized an exhibition of advertising models as part of the "Graphics Studio 3" course. The exhibition was supervised by course instructors Eng. Bassam Al-Sharjabi and Eng. Noor Al-Huda Al-Tamees, and led by Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahmadi, Head of the Department.
The exhibition aimed to enhance the intellectual and practical skills of students by designing miniature advertising models that simulate real-world corporate ads. It sought to teach students how to implement design concepts for advertisements that align with the demands of the job market, providing them with insights into the steps involved in advertising and promotion within ad agencies.
Students based their work on advertisements for local and international companies, utilizing visual identity elements such as colors, typography, and shapes that align with each company's identity, thereby giving the models a comprehensive descriptive design.
These works reflect the abilities of the Graphics Department students to produce advertising designs that meet market demands and demonstrate their skills in applying design concepts practically.
